Beachman Limited Warranty

Every new Beachman bike comes with the Beachman Limited Warranty, provided by Beachman Motor Company Ltd. as the manufacturer. If a covered part fails because of a manufacturing defect during its coverage period, we will repair or replace it at no cost to you.

This warranty covers manufacturing defects and failures only. It does not cover normal wear and tear, or damage caused by misuse or by an accidental drop, collision or impact after your bike is delivered.

What's covered, and for how long

  • Frame and structural components: 1 year
  • Drivetrain and electrical components (motor, controller, battery, wiring, throttle and display): 1 year
  • Shocks and brakes: 1 year
  • 12-volt electronics (lights, turn signals, horn and other accessories): 30 days

Every coverage period starts on the original date of purchase.

What's not covered

  • Normal wear and tear, such as tires, tubes, brake pads, grips and bulbs
  • Cosmetic damage, such as scratches, dents, paint chips and cosmetic surface rust
  • Damage caused by accidents, including any drop, collision or impact after delivery
  • Damage caused by misuse, neglect, abuse or improper storage
  • Damage caused during shipping or transportation, unless you bought optional shipping coverage separately
  • Modifications, customizations or repairs not performed by Beachman or an authorized service provider
  • Damage caused by extreme weather, water submersion, salt exposure, or corrosive conditions such as tropical climates

How warranty service works

If a covered manufacturing defect shows up during its coverage period, Beachman will repair or replace the defective part at no cost to you. You are responsible for shipping your bike to Beachman or an authorized service center, unless we arrange otherwise.

How to make a claim

Email info@beachman.ca or call 416-604-1040. Please include:

  • your proof of purchase (or your warranty transfer approval)
  • your bike's details
  • a description of the issue

Transferring the warranty to a new owner

The Beachman Limited Warranty can be transferred to a new owner when all of the following are done:

  1. The $250 USD warranty transfer fee is paid.
  2. A full inspection is performed at a recognized Beachman service center or dealership.
  3. A Warranty Transfer Form is completed with the new owner's information, the bike's details, and photos of the bike taken at the inspection.

A transfer does not restart the clock. Coverage still runs from the original purchase date and does not reset or extend.

Limitations

  • Coverage applies only with proof of purchase, or an approved transfer.
  • Coverage lasts only for the original term and does not extend after a transfer.
  • Beachman's liability is limited solely to repairing or replacing defective parts.
  • This warranty does not cover incidental or consequential damages.

Your legal rights

Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state.
