What You Need to Know Before You Ride
Your '64 LSM is officially classified as a Limited Speed Motorcycle under Canadian regulations. This is similar to a Moped, but has a few key differences.

Valid Driver's License Required: You must possess a valid driver's license (full privilege) or in some provinces, a motorcycle license to operate this LSM

Mandatory Insurance: LSM insurance is required in all provinces

Vehicle Registration: The '64 LSM must be registered

Helmet Mandatory: Always wear a DOT or ECE-approved helmet when riding

Minimum Age: Operator must be 18 years+ (or 16+ in some provinces with proper licensing)
Where You Can Ride:
- Stick to roads - no bike lanes, sidewalks, or bike paths

Highway use may be restricted for LSMs, depending on provincial regulations
- Follow all the regular traffic rules (just like in a car)
- Don't drink and ride - same penalties apply
Every '64 LSM is hand-assembled by our employees at the Beachman HQ in Toronto, Canada, where you can come see the magic happen and even test out a bike for yourself fresh off the assembly line.
All '64 e-bike accessories are cross-compatible with the LSM (including the side car!) however some may not be able to be installed from the factory due to DOT non-compliance, and will ship separately from the bike.
